Awakening to Love, Wisdom, Creativity and Relationship Ease — with Dr. Bill Pettit, M.D.
A heartfelt 2-day exploration of the spiritual wisdom within each of us that Mr. Banks points to so persistently and eloquently.
Join us for a profound exploration of innate health and resilience, guided by Dr. William (Bill) F. Pettit, Jr., M.D., a world-renowned, board-certified psychiatrist with over four decades of clinical experience.
Dr. Pettit is a leading voice in the field of Innate Health. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served for more than a decade as an Associate Professor at West Virginia University School of Medicine and as the Medical Director of the Sydney Banks Institute of Innate Health.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Pettit has held academic appointments at Des Moines University, Michigan State University, and Siena Heights University. With certifications spanning adult, adolescent, geriatric, and addiction medicine, he brings a unique depth of understanding to the human experience—helping individuals reconnect with their natural state of stillness and mental clarity.
Together, we'll reflect on selected quotes and stories from The Enlightened Gardener and The Enlightened Gardener Revisited by Sydney Banks. These reflections will open the door to a light-hearted conversation, shared insights, and real-life experiences of hope — each one pointing us back to the stillness and presence available when we live in the NOW rather than in our thoughts.
We will explore how resting in the present moment brings effortless access to love, understanding, and the quiet guidance of wisdom — an inner source that transforms how we experience life, relationships, and well-being.
Throughout the weekend, Dr. Pettit will draw upon more than four decades of exploring the metaphor of the Three Universal Principles — Mind, Consciousness, and Thought — gifted to Sydney Banks. His 26 years of personal mentoring by Mr. Banks have led to deep insights into the meeting point of spiritual truth, medicine, neuroscience, psychology, and psychiatry.
Dr. Pettit has a unique gift for bringing simplicity to apparent complexity, often through real-life stories filled with hope and humor. This gathering is a gentle invitation to settle, to listen, and rediscover the wisdom and well-being that are already yours.
